Gold prices in Jordan decreased by JD 0.20 on Saturday, at a time when global gold prices have reached an all-time high.

The selling price for the 21-carat gold – the most popular carat among locals – has reached JD 39.10 per gram, while the purchase price reached JD 37.50.

As for the 24- and 18-carat gold, selling prices have reached JD 46.60 and JD 34.60 respectively.

There are approximately 850 jewellers across Jordan with a capital of at least JD 5 billion.
